Testing Lab
Test management software

ST’s proprietary testing software called “Test Station Suite” (TSS) is oriented to simplify the execution of tests and facilitate control operation. The TSS is is a software created on Win 32 format for Windows environment developed on .NET 2005 (framework 2.0) technology.

The TSS interface is designed according to the customer specifications and has the following modules:
  • Catalogs. The catalogs are manageable informative structures used for the system configuration. The identification of catalogs is important to give the system flexibility to make modifications and improvements.
  • Configuration. The tests that the system performs may be defined in the configuration module to make the system flexible for any change in timing, hardware control, cycles of test and criteria for test failure as well as the action to be taken when a failure is detected.
  • The system may be preconfigured to perform the ABM test. This information is included in the RFS (Requirements Functional Specification) document.
  • Communication. This is an internal process that the LT-System performs to control all the hardware required to perform the test. A communication library is be used and developed in the same technology and delivered to the customer.
  • Reporting. All the information of the test collected in the LT-System will be saved in PDF, DOC, XLS, XLM or TXT format files as the customer requires. This information is saved in the Data Base and can be read through an application interface defined by the customer.
  • Log files. The script stores all log files including:
    • All progress reports in the user interface box shall be saved in a file (text file).
    • All communication log files shall be saved in a file (text file).
    • Any other results from the test shall be saved in a file (text file).
    • User signed at the test execution (text file).
    • Name convention for these reports is to be defined by CUSTOMER.
    • All communication log files (incl. Time stamp) shall be saved in a file (text file).
