For field applications where the measurement engineering capabilities of devices for mobile applications are equally demanding to those of the laboratory devices, ST integrates systems based on imc systems especially designed for there applications where demands on devices are significantly different not only in terms of size but also in its working conditions. In the simplest case, a DC power supply unit, an extended temperature range, condensation proofing and insensitivity to mechanical and climatic stresses are required. And the ability to capture physical quantities simultaneously with Field bus data is of ever-increasing importance.
